October update

The Grand Opening of the brand-new Clermont Dash Sports location was a strong success - exceeding our vision and dreams.
Going forward, Dash Sports will operate solely from this location in Historic Downtown Clermont, 741 W Montrose Street. Doing so will help us continue to optimally serve our incredible community.

As noted earlier, I have been studying retail for a long time. I started my love of retail as a small child with our local children's clothing store. I was a serial shopper. I was the reason my mom enacted a 'clothing allowance'. It was thrilling to go see what was new or find something perfect to wear.

There are a couple times in life that you might have to decide on a name for something. For us it's been for our kids and now our business(es). For any name, I don't want it too many syllables, and I also do not want it rhyme with anything offensive.


Have you ever put in 1900 sq feet of laminate flooring? Have you ever envisioned going to help someone else doing it for 20+ hours in 2 days? How can I describe the feeling when people show up to help with a project like this with no expectations of pay (or even food!- Haha) They brought their huge power tools, their detail oriented brains, and their energy and made quick work out of the installation.

This dream of a store with ‘4 walls and a treadmill’ has been alive in my head for many years, but the timing and the situation had to be right.
